Def Jam PS3
Electronic Arts today confirmed development of Def Jam 3 as part of a renewed licensing agreement between the gaming giant and Def Jam Enterprises. The two companies have signed a multi-year agreement allowing EA to produce next-generation Def Jam games in multiple genres.
Def Jam 3 -- still a working title -- is currently in development at EA's Chicago studio. Like previous titles in the series, the new Def Jam will combine hip hop and urban lifestyle with street fighting. EA says the latest installment will look and sound like a cutting edge video while offering the "intensity and drama" of a big budget film.
EA has yet to announce platform or release date specifics for Def Jam 3, but we'll be back with more details on the title as soon as news comes in. Stay tuned.
