Devil May Cry PS3
May 16, 2005 - Sony didn't hold back at their 2005 presentation for the upcoming PS3 titles. Among the collection of heartstoppers was everyone's favorite half-demon, Dante. That's right, there's a Devil May Cry 4.
Albeit, this was a snippet/teaser, all the elements were there. We start with a brief montage of the previous game, showing cutscenes of early Dante. The snippets play from Devil May Cry to the latest iteration of the young wisecracker in Devil May Cry 3. Then instantly, we see a chrome sword standing in the snow. Dante springs onto screen in glorious hi-res detail, pulls a gun from the holster, and aims at the screen. Pow! Fade to black, and we're introduced to the next adventure in the Devil May Cry series.
The level of detail you see in the screenshot is the level of detail you see in the video, in motion and perfectly sharp. There are no confirmations on what in-game actually looks like, but if Capcom comes anywhere near this level of real-time detail, I just might explode.
